Ken Brothers has been playin' the guitar and singin' country music, for some thirty plus years all over Texas and some of the surrounding states. His distinctive approach to yodeling and singing has brought pleasure to audiences everywhere.One of the highlights of his musical career was winning the United States Yodeling Championship Competition held in Kerrville , Texas back in 1977, Ken held the title through the following two contests in 78 and 79. Then in 1980, no one challenged him, so he requested to retire from competition to rebuild participation in the contest. The contest was moved to Nebraska , and last heard was going strong. Ken is also a song writer and has recorded some of his own music , much to the pleasure of fans and audiences everywhere! You can find Ken singin' and yodelin' at country opery shows, weddings, festival's, corporate functions, ranch parties and at Steed Henderson's Beans n Bacon Cowboy Caterin ' functions, and all over Texas.
Ken and Steed also team up for a special show with a taste of country humor, Cowboy poetry, some true stories, and some of Kens singin' and yodelin'. Ken is a family man, a vocalist, a world class yodeler, and an all around good guy!
